Leaf Rubbings

C is really intriqued by Fall.  I've explained why leaves change color and why they've begun to fall.

One way I knew to embrace his interest in Fall was to gather some leaves from the back yard and do some leaf rubbings.

All you need are the leaves, paper, and some crayons without their paper.

At first he just wanted to color, but as soon as I was about to walk away to just let him color he wanted my help in setting up some leaves and holding the paper.
