Bones books
C loves these books. They're beginning chapter books so it surprises me that he does. Don't understand? There are lots of words. If you only look at the pictures it doesn't tell the whole story. I thought I would share these with you as to me it makes me wonder if he's ready for me to read real chapter books out loud. Soon I will give it a whirl.
On another note, his favorite is the Birthday Mystery. It has some lame humor that is perfect for kids C's age. The other books have the same lame humor, but are a little more sophisticated, so some are above his head.
