Household (For Your Kids) Do-It Yourself

Here's some additional projects I want to share with you, but don't have the time or talents.  In the case of the last one, well, I'm hoping it's self explanatory.

This first one is AWESOME.  Only problem is I'm not handy with a jigsaw.  I think C (me too) would love one if anyone's bored.  :-)

Apparently called a trug.  I call it a wooden tool box.  Read it here at That's My Letter.

Hanging storage.  Use it for your child's closet, in their room, your panty or garage.  Also try it with wooden crates. If only I had a pantry...

Doll house made from dresser drawers.

This laundry basket is for anyone- just change up the color and fabric for the user.

  1. Hi Karla,

I love that garbage can laundry basket! I wish we could get those American metal garbage cans here in the UK. All we have are horrible plastic ones that get covered in moss and mildew, nobody wants to up-cycle one of those. perhaps I should look on eBay, but can you imagine the postage cost? My husband is a metalworker, perhaps I can get him to make one for me, God knows he loves his power tools.

It kind of defeats the object of taking used items and renovating them for low cost solutions though doesn't it...

    Love the blog!
