Pom Poms

Who knew pom poms could be so fun?

It started out innocently...I purchased a bag of pom poms at the dollar store for C.  My intentions were for him to put them through an opening in a cheese container.  Then dump out and start again.  Clearly this proved too easy.  I think I didn't think that one through.  I highly recommend this for younger children.

However, the pom poms remained a useful toy.  They were used as food and for mixing in his kitchen.  He frequently brings various "meals" to us throughout the day (weeks later he's still doing this).

And later in his garbage truck.  The pom poms were eventually taken to the "dump."  Sorry he wouldn't let me get a picture of this.

I'm quite sure they will eventually be used at a construction site and in and out of a dump truck or digger.  And sure enough- weeks later they were.

Pom poms can also be used for sorting and counting or use a tongs to perform the specified activity.

Do you have any unique or fun ways to use pom poms?
