Removing Stains- Laundry

Are any of you like me?  I don't inspect clothing prior to washing.  I separate into loads and in the washer they go.

Unfortunately this also creates a problem when it comes to stains- especially since the articles of clothing also go straight into the dryer, sometimes setting the stains forever.

Oh, I know about stains on most of C's clothes, because I'm home with him most of the time, but my husbands- or even mine (if I forget), well lets say we have a lot of clothing I (with hope) wash several times.

It's simple really.  Once I found out about this I was asking myself why I didn't know about this years earlier (much like using hydrogen peroxide to get blood out).

Here it is the simple, duh tip of the day: Clip clothespins to the sides of your hampers or laundry baskets and teach your family to pin them on clothing to mark stains or spills.

Then all you have to do is train yourself (or whomever does the laundry) to look for the clothespins prior to washing.

I might eventually decorate them with paint, let C color or paint them, or even modge podge them.  If you want pretty clothespins without the work consider the 3,100 options on Etsy here.
