I thought, maybe something that wipes off? No, that's the problem. I don't want it to wipe off if I'm not ready. With a young one, I'd be at risk of loosing my valuable notes and our little world might fall apart.
What about old fashioned planners? Kind of OK, but I don't need the address portion. I want to customize it and they're usually in boring patterns.
I decided to take a decorative notebook, medium in size (5-1/4" x 7" to be exact), and add some tabs. I think they're 3M or Avery tabs. They can be found at almost any retailer in your area I'm sure. You can write anything and reposition them. Perfect for mistakes or changes you decide to make at any time. I love it because I'm in control of my organizer at all times. I may not be completely organized- but of this item I am in control.
Hard to see, but tabs are To Do, To Buy, To Call, and Blog.
I do still need a calendar, but have a separate mini calendar I throw in my bag. It works for me and it was $1 in the dollar section at Target towards the end of last year. If purchasing a planner consider a calendar section so you can have everything on one place.
Simple, yes, but oh so helpful.
Want one without the effort? I found two (we all like options right?) similar options to purchase on Etsy.
Crown Bindery offers tabs, card stock, covers, and printable inserts in just about any color, pattern, and size you want and it's all still customizable! The "covers" are pretty, wipe able, and reusable/ refillable! I'd go this route if I wasn't trying to be frugal!
Using Talents For Him offers two sizes of planners/ organizers with pre-printed tabs. Available in several patterns. I'm guessing you could customize them more by simply messaging the seller.
If you buy from these shops would you please share with them " I found your shop on http://chasingchalk.blogspot.com."
